Big Sky chapter of Family Motorcoach Association - Rallies 2024

Sig Dehn, Wagonmaster

June 21, 22, 23, leave 24 June -- Conestoga Campground, White Sulphur Springs, MT

What we have:

20 sites held for us until May 3rd -- most all sites are 70 ft long.
   14 sites - 1 thru 10 & 26 thru 29 -- 20/30/50A W+E+S
"BR" means "Big Rig" for those over 42 ft long
    4 sites - 30 thru 33 -- 20/30A W+E+S
    2 sites - 11 & 19 -- 20/30A W+E only

Costs:  Sites 1-10 & 26-29 -- $48/night + fees & tax=$165.56 for 3 nights
            Sites 30-33 & 11&19 -- $43/night + fees & tax=$148.84 for 3 nights

Hosts:  Buchers in Site 1 and Kloosterhofs in Site 2.

Social Gatherings:  Most likely in the grassy area next to site 1 or in the large grassy area next to sites 11 & 19.  If you want to be close to the action, consider sites 11 or 19, remembering they're 20/30A W+E only.

Reservations:  Online reservation system will not work for sites in our block.  Please email Kelly at info@conestoga-campground.com stating the fact that you wish to reserve a site in the Big Sky FMCA block.  Give your name, desired site, length of your RV, and a phone number for her to contact you.  If you want to arrive a day or so early or stay longer, mention that in your email.  Please do not try to book a "Big Rig" site unless your rig is over 42 ft long.  We do have a few 43ft and 45ft rigs in our chapter.  Be considerate.  It may take Kelly a day or two to get back to you since they are technically closed for the winter and they are going away for 10 days or so starting on January 17th.  You'll have little luck contacting Kelly by calling - you're best off to send her an email.  I know--I've been working on this issue for several days - just email her.

Other Stuff:  Check out their website here:  www.conestoga-campground.com
You won't find a campground map on their website but you'll see several photos in their gallery and much more.

As always, if you have any questions, comments, concerns, etc, feel free to call, text, or email me.  Stay warm if you're in the frozen north!

July 18, 19, 20, and leave 21 Jul--Lost Moose Meadows Campground--Lincoln, MT:

Our July rally will be at the Lost Moose Meadows Campground just west of Lincoln, MT the nights of 18, 19, & 20 July, leaving on the 21st.  This is the weekend that there is a chainsaw carving contest in Lincoln.  Also near Lincoln is "Sculpture in the Wild" which I understand is something special to see.

We have the entire Loop A (20 sites) blocked off for us until April 15th.  If you go to their website at lmmrv.com you can find a campground map and much more.  You must call them at (406) 204-0424 to make your reservations since all of Loop A is blocked out from their online reservation system.  Make sure to say that you're with the Big Sky FMCA group.  All sites are 20/30/50 Amp sites with water & sewer.  Pull Throughs are $65/night including tax and Back-ins are $50/night including tax.  The only discount they offer is a military discount (10% with valid proof at check in).  Our hosts (Ayres & Gibsons) will be in sites A-14 & A-15.

August 6, 7, 8 and leave 9 Aug--Nugget RV Resort in St. Regis, MT:

Our hosts will be the Zentners & Coles in sites 65 & 66 with a gathering area next to site 66.

ONLY a few spots left call (406) 316-8195 to reserve.  You will speak with Sarah or Matt who took over as managers this past April.  They live on site and if they don't answer right away, they will get back to you if you leave a message.  Make sure to mention that you are part of the Big Sky FMCA group.

Keep in mind that this rally arriving on a Tuesday and leaving Friday would be a good stop along the way to the National FMCA Rally in Redmond, Oregon since most attendees would be scheduled to arrive there on Monday, August 12th.

September 6, 7, 8 and leave on 9 Sept--Yellowstone Holiday RV Resort--North side of Hebgen Lake, 14 driving miles NW of West Yellowstone, MT

A block of 20 sites is being held for us at the Yellowstone Holiday RV Resort but only until November 1st!  To make a reservation for the nights of 6,7, & 8 September, you must click on the link below.  This link will allow you to choose, reserve, and pay for your RV site.  All of the sites listed on the link are blocked for our group.  Sixteen of the sites are in the RV East area, four are in the North area. All sites are 50/30A full hookups, 5 pull-thrus, 15 back-ins.  If you want to arrive a day or so early or stay later, I suggest you go directly to the Resort's website, and check availability of sites on the days you want additionally.
Most sites are $100/night, but they honor a 10% Good Sam discount.  When making a reservation, there is a place to enter your Good Sam information, but the computerized system will not give you the discount (has something to do with the group block).  Once the owner sees and confirms your Good Sam information on your reservation, she will reimburse you.
The hosts will be in sites E05 & E07.  Some social gatherings will be near those sites and other gatherings will be in the Beaver Den that I intend to reserve later.  I suggest that you prioritize selecting a site in the east area first.  Please be considerate of those with big rigs--don't book an 84 ft long site if you have a short rig.  To see a campground map, go to yellowstoneholiday.com, click on "accommodations'', then "resort map".
You'll pay in full when making your reservation, but if you cancel outside of 48 hours prior to arrival, you'll get a full refund less a $25 cancellation fee.

Feel free to call, text, or email me with any questions, etc.
